Born on June 14th 1989, Antonio has been part of the Italian Junior National Team. He turned pro in 2008 and finished his first year on the Tour at no. 681.

The sicilian shares the coach Fabio Rizzo with Alessio di Mauro and Gianluca Naso. During 2009 Antonio will be approaching the Challenger tour aiming to break into the top 300.

During the summer he will compete for the first time in the Erste Bundesliga in Germany. He will team up with Potito Starace and Marcel Granollers in the team of Blau Weiss Neuss.
