Nicolas was born on the 9th February 1977 in Strasbourg. Now he lives in Paris, close to the Roland Garros Stadium. That’s where he trains and – of course – it’s favorite tournament. Nicolas is one of the best French tennis talents. His biggest weapon are his forehand and his backhand, which he prefers to use on clay. A serious knee injury has forced Nicolas to stay away from the court for almost six month in the 2004, and kept bothering him until the end of the summer 2005.Now he will have to start over again from the lower districts of the ATP ranking. His love for tennis is as great as ever, and during the months of inactivity, he has realized that he needs to support his natural talent and work harder than he ever did.
