Viktor Troicki reached the semi final of the 1 million dollar ATP event of Doha, Quatar. In the quarter final Viktor played an unbelievable match against Lucas Kubot, in which he came back from 2-5 in the third set, to win 7-6. Only the best Rafael Nadal could stop Viktor in the semi final.

The Spaniards Marcel Granollers and Santiago Ventura won their first ATP tour doubles title together at the Chennai Open. The second seeds defeated Yen-Hsun Lu and Janko Tipsarevic 7-5, 6-2 in the final. The Spaniards played together already for a few years and want to team up as often as possible in 2010. The 23-years old Marcel Granollers reached a career-high ranking of 25 by winning his fourth title from seven finals. He won his first three titles with different partners last year at the Brasil Open, Copa Telmex and Kremlin Cup.
