Marco Chiudinelli has been awarded the ATP ‘Comeback of the Year 2009 Award’. The fantastic run of the second half of 2009, in which Marco had to go through qualies and picked up over 400 ATP points, will remain a historic achievement. In total Marco moved up from Future tournaments (ATP 700) to Master Series tournaments (ATP 54) in one season.

The other winners are: Roger Federer (Player of the year and Sportsmanship Award) , Bob and Mike Brian (Doubles team), John Isher (Most improved player) and Horacio Zeballos (Newcomer).
