Alex Dolgopolov continues his run towards te top 50, his goal for 2010.

In Meknes, Morocco, Alex won his first challenger title of  2010, beating Portuguese Riu Machado in the Final 75 62.  Together with his friend Artem Smirnov he reached also the final of the doubles event, in which they eventually lost to Andujar/Cipolla.

Alex and his coach Jack Reader are taking a week off before returning to Morocco where Alex will attend the Rabat and Marrakech challengers. "Our first goal is reached" Said Jack Reader after the finals. "we had set our goals at the Australian Open and our first goal was to be main draw at the French Open. Now we will focus and work to prepare well for Paris."

Meanwhile Potito Starace reached the second doubles ATP Final in Acapulco. Together with Fognini he lost the final to top seeds Kubot/Marach. Potito moves up 23 sports to no.83 in the ATP doubles ranking.
