Personal

Igor Kunitsyn was brought up by his grandparents. He started to play tennis at the age of seven. His grandmother Ninel Kislovskaya and grandfather Nikolay Kislovskiy used to travel with him to tournaments. Igor originally came from Vladivostock, on the eastern coast of Russia. Igor is married to Irina Kornienko and they have a little son: Aleksander. Igor is known to be an excellent gourmet cook of Italian food and loves going to good restaurants. He speaks English and Italian along with his Russian. He considers hard courts as his favourite surface and the best part of his game is ground strokes/ baseline play.
