Personal
Potito Starace was born in Cervinara (Avellino) in Italy, on July 14th 1981. He began playing at the age of eight. His nickname is ‘Poto’. His father Angelantonio is head of a post office, his mother Rosa is a teacher. Potito has two younger brothers Francesco and Gianluca. He prefers playing on clay or hard courts and playing outdoors. His coach is Umberto Rianna, his fitness trainer is Stefano Baraldo.
